2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />Kittitas County, Washington <br />The DSO has prepared dam failure inundation mapping for the Hazard Category 1A and 1B dams. <br />lndividual mapping was created for the Cle Elum Dam (Category 1A) (Figure 4-3) and Easton Diversion <br />Dam (Category 1B) (Figure 4.4). The DSO prepared a single inundation area map for failure of the <br />Kachess and Keechelus dams (Category 1A) (Figure 4-5). <br />The inundation areas for the Cle Elum Dam, and the Kachees and Keechelus dams would impact the <br />cities of Cle Elum and Ellensburg, and the Town of South Cle Elem. The Easton Diversion Dam <br />inundation area would impact the City of Cle Elum and the Town of South Cle Elum. All inundation areas <br />impact portions of Unincorporated Kittitas County. The Kachees and Keechelus dams are estimated to <br />have the largest impact on the planning area. <br />Figure 4-3.
