Vision Statement <br />This Recreation Plan details the sftategy for providing comprehensive, year-round recreational <br />opporhrnities for the Roslyn Ridge West Planned Unit Development. The vision is to cultivate an <br />active and engaged community by utilizing high-quality on-site amenities and facilitating <br />resident access to the natural recreational resources ofthe surrounding Central Cascade region, <br />including Lake Cle Elum. This plan aims to enhance reside,nt quahty of life, promote health and <br />wellness, and contibute to a strong community identity. <br />2. On-Site Recreational Amenities <br />Residents of the Roslyn Ridge West development will have access to the Roslyn Ridge Activity <br />Center, which is established and open to all residents of the finalized portions of the Roslyn <br />Ridge development atlaqe.The Roslyn Ridge West Planned Unit Development, once fully <br />developed, will benefit from access to a dedicated Activity Center featuring a range of existing <br />facilities: <br />. Aquatic Facilities (Seasonal): A heated outdoor swimming pool, accompanylng hot tub, <br />and a children's splash pad designed for seasonal e4joyment. <br />. Sports X'acilities: Courts designated for basketball, tennis, and seasonal sand voileyball, <br />supporting active recreation. <br />. tr'itness Center: An equipped exercise facility available for year-round resident use. <br />. Communal Areas: Outdoor barbecue stations and designated picnic areas intended for <br />social gatherings and community events. <br />. Support Facilifies: Conveniently located changing rooms equipped with showers for <br />users ofthe aquatic and fitress amenities. <br />3. Off-Site Recreational Integration <br />The location of Roslyn Ridge provides advantageous proximity to extensive outdoor recreational <br />opportunities: <br />. Trail Networks: Access to local and regional tails suitable for hiking, mountain biking, <br />and seasonal activities such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. An access trail will <br />be available to Roslyn Ridge West residents via the utility easement in the northwest <br />corner of the development and as identified in Exhibit I- <br />. Motorized Recreation: Proximity to designated areas supporting Off-Road Vehicle <br />(ORV), dirt bike, and snowmobile usage, capitalizing onthe region's reputation for these <br />activities..
