Department of Corrections (Tim Logan): Reported that DOC and KCCC <br /> were unable to reach an agreement on bed rates, and they will be <br /> continuing to contract with Yakima County Corrections for housing parole <br /> violators. <br /> f. Ellensburg Police Department (Cameron Clasen): EPD has two new hires <br /> and another likely hire, all will attend academy next month. National Night <br /> Out on August 5ch will be at the Memorial Park. <br /> g. Kittcom (Rich Elliott): Reported WSU recently completed Washington Data <br /> Use Agreement report that has not been released yet; however, his <br /> position is that the data they maintain is law enforcement agency data and <br /> they will not release without approval of that agency. <br /> Rich further shared he is working with Fire and Police Chiefs regarding burn <br /> complaints and the appropriate agency to contact for response. He advised <br /> that until a final resolution is reached Kittom will continue current process <br /> in contacting appropriate fire district. <br /> h. Kittitas County Auditor's Office (Zack DeHaven): No report <br /> L Kittitas County Coroner's Office (Cori McKean): They have a new intern on <br /> board who will be responding to calls. The training for Randox that was <br /> scheduled for this week has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. <br /> j. Kittitas County Juvenile Court Services (Katrina Mankus): No report <br /> k. Kittitas County Sheriff's Office (Clay Myers): Shared that while they remain <br /> aware and are monitoring, they are no longer actively searching for Travis <br /> Decker, as there is no current indication that he is in our area. <br /> I. Washington State Patrol (John Bryant): Reported they continue to <br /> experience a shortage of troopers; other agencies are supporting as <br /> needed. Next big weekend is Watershed. <br /> 7.
