Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee Meeting Minutes <br /> Kittitas County, Washington <br /> Commissioners' Auditorium <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> MONDAY 1:30 PM JULY 7TH, 2025 <br /> Board Members Present: <br /> Nancy Goodloe, Michael Karraker,Joan Neslund, Cassidy Buechle-Curtis (Remote),Janine Brodine <br /> (Remote), Skylar Bisom-Rapp, Matthew Stalder <br /> Excused: Bradley Esparza, Brett Wachsmith (Chair) <br /> Others: Emma Madland (Clerk-Remote), Kasey Knutson, Lily Frey (City of Ellensburg) <br /> 1. Meeting called to order at 1:30 PM <br /> 2. Introduction of Guests: Michael Karraker, Vice-chair, asked for an introduction of guests and <br /> gave the opportunity for the observers to introduce themselves. <br /> 3. Citizen Comments: N/A <br /> 4. Minutes Approval <br /> MOTION TO APPROVE MAY 22ND, MAY 30T", AND JUNE 2ND, 2025 MEETING MINUTES:Joan <br /> Neslund moved to approve the May 22nd, May 301", and June 2nd meeting minutes. Matthew <br /> Stalder second. Motion carried to approve meeting minutes. <br /> 5. Committee Business <br /> 5 Year Plan: <br /> Joan Neslund raised a question about the progress on the 5-year plan for homelessness. <br /> Lily Frey offered insight into the fact that there have not been further changes made since their <br /> last discussion outside of preparing a draft to meet grant requirements. Skylar Bisom-Rapp <br /> requested to review the current draft at their next regular meeting. The group agreed and would <br /> like to be able to review the draft in advance. <br /> 6. Other Business <br /> Cold Weather Shelter: <br /> Nancy Goodloe shared that there would be a meeting on July 171" at Grace Episcopal <br /> Church to discuss the potential of them becoming the cold weather shelter location. The City of <br /> Ellensburg is working on this project. <br /> 7. Meeting concluded at 1:45 PM <br /> 1 <br />
