Kittitas County Lodging Tax Fund Application for Tourism -Related Infrastructure Projects <br />Application Overview <br />This application is designed to provide funding for tourism -related infrastructure projects in <br />Kittitas County. Eligible projects must demonstrate a direct impact on tourism, support visitor <br />experiences, and contribute to the local economy. Please follow the application format outlined <br />below and attach supporting documents to this cover sheet. Project Overview <br />1. Project Description <br />Project is to replace existing sprinkler system in the Roslyn Historical Cemeteries. There are 26 <br />different cemeteries that date back to the early 1880's. The existing sprinkler system has been in <br />place since around the 50's and 60's and has been deteriorating. The project includes four (4) <br />phases, consisting of a base bid, with alternates A, B, C. Project is scheduled to be completed <br />during spring of 2026. <br />2. Tourism Benefit <br />The Historic Roslyn Cemetery attracts visitors daily from outside of the County and is a valuable <br />piece of both state and local history in our County. These improvements allow the City the ability to <br />maintain this historic feature and to preserve the area to better allow a safe tourism experience. <br />3. Target Users <br />The primary users are tourists and recreational users. This area will remain open during the project. <br />
