CONTINUED PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT <br />In order to keep the Plan current after it is approved, it is important to ensure that the public continues to <br />be involved in the Plan and how it is carried out. To ensure continued public engagement, Kittitas County <br />will ensure the Plan is available in the County’s Hazard Mitigation webpage after it has been approved to <br />allow the public an opportunity to provide continual feedback and input. Kittitas County will continue to collaborate with its stakeholders to <br />ensure that the public has an opportunity to learn about the Plan, mitigation actions planned for their <br />communities, and ways to get involved. Hazard mitigation will be a part of the County’s community <br />outreach strategy to include, but not limited to, public meetings, community events, social media, and <br />public surveys throughout the year. Furthermore, the County will continue to ensure equitable outreach <br />by working with other departments, non-profits, and agencies that collaborate with underserved <br />communities throughout the County. <br />
