2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />Kittitas County, Washington <br /> <br /> <br />Appendix C: Public Engagement 378 <br /> <br />HopeSource <br />In an effort to reach the underserved population throughout Kittitas County, the Core Planning Team <br />partnered with HopeSource to help distribute hazard mitigation information to the community. <br />HopeSource is a private, non-profit organization that has been providing a wide range of human services <br />in Kittitas County since 1966. HopeSource was created to address the needs of low-wealth households <br />and has provided emergency and sustained support to thousands of families in the Upper and Lower <br />Kittitas County. <br /> <br />English and Spanish flyers were posted throughout multiple HopeSource facilities – waiting room, lobby, <br />office, food bank – and in their Dial A Ride as Kittitas County Connector vehicles. Additionally, a hard <br />copy of the Plan was made available in the HopeSource building waiting room. <br />
