PUBLIC MEETINGS <br />Kittitas County Public Works hosted two (2) public meetings throughout the County on February 21, 2024, <br />and February 22, 2024. These allowed the County to introduce the Plan update, identify additional <br />hazards of concern that should be included, if any, and to provide input for the various mitigation <br />measures intended to eliminate or reduce the negative impact to those hazards. Language translation <br />assistance in Spanish was available in all public meetings. <br /> <br />During the Public Meetings, forms were provided to each participant to identify and describe how the <br />identified hazards for Kittitas County have impacted (or could impact) their place of residence and/or <br />work, municipality, or organization. Additionally, participants were asked to provide mitigation <br />actions/ideas and to identify additional hazards of concern. Although highly encouraged, these forms <br />were voluntary and confidential. <br /> <br />The public meeting agendas and sign in sheets are below. <br />
