07/14/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />Vice-Chairman Wright moved to approve a Professional Services <br />Agreement with Bugs and Flies to provide Apple Maggot Spraying <br />Services from July 14, 2025 through October 31, 2025 in an amount <br />not to exceed $50,000.00. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried <br />2-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE LTAC RECOMMENDATIONS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz gave an update on the Kittitas County Lodging Tax <br />Advisory Committee (LTAC) meeting held on July 9, 2025. She reviewed <br />the makeup of the Committee and stated there was 10 million dollars <br />to award. She reviewed the projects received and the amounts applied <br />for. Jessica Karraker, LTAC Member reviewed the reasons why the <br />applications were or were not supported. She stated the applications <br />that received funding were shovel-ready projects and they had <br />concrete plans. She explained that it was really difficult to not <br />support the City of Ellensburg’s request. She stated that the <br />applications were all listed with a completion date by 2026. There <br />was some discussion around if the application came back in the <br />future they could potentially support it with changes. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action Forms and Vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending July 11, 2025. <br /> <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of July 14, 2025, they would <br />post the following on their Facebook page: Public Health Department <br />Press Release asking residents to complete a survey to help shape <br />the expansion of Kittitas County Veterans Services; Clay Myers 40 <br />years of service award; Chip Seal Schedule. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS
