KITTITAS COUNTY AIRPORT -BOWERS FIELD <br />Lease Addendum <br />THIS ADDENDUM TO LEASE is made and dated this day of, , 2025, <br />by and between KITTITAS COUNTY, a municipal corporation in the State of Washington, <br />hereinafter referred to as the LESSOR, and KITTCOM, and hereinafter referred to as the <br />LESSEE. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE entered into a Lease on October 6, 1998, a copy of <br />which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE amended the lease through an addendum on <br />October 7, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE amended the lease through an addendum on <br />February 17, 2004, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE amended the lease through an addendum on <br />December 30, 2019, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, according to Paragraph 2B "Adjustment of Rental" of the lease, it states <br />"the lease rate shall increase by 1.5% each year of this lease amendment and compared against <br />the Consumer Price Index"; and <br />WHEREAS, per Paragraph 2B "Adjustment of Rental", the lease rate was not re- <br />adjusted and fixed per the required timeline due to staff oversight; and <br />WHEREAS, upon researching the CPI index compared to the standard 1.5% increase it <br />was discovered that the 1.5% standard annual increase controlled; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease addendum states that a 1.5% rate increase is to occur annually <br />until the next review period; and <br />WHEREAS, this Lease Addendum hereby satisfies the Paragraph 2B "Adjustment of <br />Rental" clause per the lease terms. <br />Lease Addendum (5) — Kitteom May 2025 Page I <br />
