State of Washington Department of Ecology <br />Agreement No: SWMLSWFA-2025-KiCPHD-00230 <br />Project Title: SWE Kittitas County PHD <br />Recipient Name: KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />• Staff salaries and benefits, and indirect not to exceed 30% <br />• Mileage or fuel and maintenance charges for vehicle use on task eligible work <br />• Ordinance development necessary to comply with chapter 173-350 WAC <br />• MOLO, HAZWOPER, NAHMMA, CFOT, SWANA, WSRA, and WRRA memberships, trainings, and events that are <br />directly related to and necessary for performing the tasks outlined in this agreement. <br />• Costs not listed here but pre -approved in writing by ECOLOGY <br />Task Costs Ineligible for Reimbursement <br />• Costs covered by solid waste facility fees for inspections, permit issuance or renewal <br />• Site clean-up costs including costs for removal, transportation, and disposal <br />• Overtime unless the individual spent 100% of their time on LSWFA activities in the core 40-hour work week <br />• Staff participation in trainings, workshops and or conferences not pre -approved in writing by ECOLOGY <br />• Costs of membership in civic, business, technical and or professional organizations not pre -approved in writing by <br />ECOLOGY <br />• Costs not supported with required documentation <br />Page 7 of20 <br />Task Goal Statement: <br />The goal of the task is to protect human health and the environment by preventing and correcting solid waste violations through <br />technical assistance and education, compliance monitoring and enforcement when necessary. <br />Task Expected Outcome: <br />With the task budget, RECIPIENT expects to perform 80 permitted and 10 exempt facility inspections, issue 20 permitted and <br />10 exempt permit renewals, and receive and resolve 50 complaints. <br />Recipient Task Coordinator: Jesse Cox <br />Solid Waste Enforcement <br />Deliverables <br />Number <br />Description <br />Due Date <br />1.1 <br />Task Expected Outcomes are the deliverables and achieved incrementally <br />throughout the biennium. <br />Template Version 12/10/2020 <br />
