06/16/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of June 16, 2025, they would <br />post the following on their Facebook page: Acknowledging Sue <br />Higginbotham for receiving the employee of the year from the <br />Secretary of State; and 3 proclamations: Declaring Colton Magruder <br />Day in Kittitas County June 20th, 2025; Declaring Jalina Blackmore <br />Day in Kittitas County June 23rd, 2025; Declaring Kittitas County to <br />Not be a Sanctuary Jurisdiction Supporting Evasion of Federal <br />Immigration Enforcement Actions. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2025 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually, over the past week. <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wright gave an update on the FMSIB Meeting he attended <br />in Wenatchee the week prior and an update on the BEAD Award. <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz gave an update on the meeting she had with City of <br />Cle Elum regarding the LTAC Large Scale Capital Grants ask. <br /> <br />Meeting concluded at 9:43 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
