BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025- <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN KITTITAS <br />COUNTY AND PAUL HUTCHINSON FOR GOODWIN ROAD HAY COVER <br />STORAGE <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County owns parcel No. 505933, located off Goodwin Road; and. <br />WHEREAS, there are two unused hay cover storage buildings located on parcel No. 505933; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a notice of call for sealed bids was advertised on May 22 and May 29, 2025 in <br />the newspaper of record, with sealed bids due on June 6, 2025, at 9:00 am; and <br />WHEREAS, one (1) responsive bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the lease is to provide efficient management and protection of <br />parcel 505933, to ensure the maximum return from leases of county -controlled <br />property, and to temporarily make available property not currently required for <br />County purposes, pursuant to Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.81.010; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners did hold the required <br />public hearing considering the lease on July 1, 2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the lease agreement between Kittitas County <br />and Paul Hutchinson for Goodwin Road Hay Cover Storage. <br />DATED this lst day of July, 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />
