GENERAL INFORMATION Project Title: Springwood Ranch Stewardship and Planning Total Cost: $740,000.00 Total Eligible Cost: $740,000.00 Ecology Share: $740,000.00 Recipient Share: $0.00 The Effective Date of this Agreement is: 01/01/2025 The Expiration Date of this Agreement is no later than: 08/31/2027 Project Type: Yakima Basin Integrated Planning Project Short Description: Springwood Ranch was acquired to advance the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan. Stewardship and Planning funding will be used to maintain core land management functions during an interim management period and provide key services to enable the partners to transition the ranch to meet long-term management goals. Project Long Description: The 3,600-acre Springwood Ranch property was acquired to advance water supply, structural and operational changes, habitat and watershed protection elements of the Yakima Basin Integrated Plan. On October 31, 2024 Kittitas County, Kittitas Reclamation District (KRD), Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), and the Yakama Nation took ownership of Springwood Ranch. Stewardship funding will be used to maintain core land management functions during an interim period while the four landowners work together to transition management and operations to meet long-term goals associated with each
