BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS CONSTRUCTION PHASE FOR THE HUNTZINGER <br />ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 1 PROJECT CRP 318-23 <br />WHEREAS: The Huntzinger Road Safety Improvements Phase 1 Project was awarded Federal <br />Funding through the 2023 Highway Safety Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The Federal Funding will be used for the construction phase; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to advertise for construction, Kittitas County Public Works is <br />requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation release the <br />Federal Funds for construction; and <br />WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the County's comprehensive plan for community <br />development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Huntzinger Road Safety <br />Improvements Phase 1 Project CRP 318-23. <br />DATED on this 17th day of June 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
