KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />May 13, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to Approve the Purchase of a 2022 Toyota Forklift. <br />BACKGROUND: Currently the Solid Waste Department uses a 1976 Toyota forklift <br />that is reaching the end of its useful life. Three telephone bids were <br />obtained, and Mid -Columbia Forklift offered the best price on a used <br />forklift. The forklift is a 2022 Toyota 8FGU20 with 670 hours.
