I NTERLOCAL AG REEM ENT FO R COOPERATIVE PU RCHASI NG <br />Between Centralia Cottege and Kittitas County <br />This lnterl.ocat Agreement is made between Centratia Cottege, a pubtic institution of higher <br />education in Washington State ("Co[tege"), and Kittitas County, a potiticat subdivision of <br />the State of Washington ("County"). The purpose of this agreement is to atLow the CoLtege <br />to use a competitively awarded contract hetd by the County for the purchase of banking <br />services. <br />1. Purpose <br />a. This agreement enabtes Centratia Cottege to make purchases under a <br />contract competitivety procured by Kittitas County, in accordance with <br />washington's lntertocal cooperation Act (chapter 39.34 RCW). lt supports <br />efficient, cost-effective procurement by reducing administrative duptication. <br />2. Authority <br />a. This agreement is made under RCW 39.34.030 and RCW 39.34'080, which <br />attow pubtic agencies in Washington to contract with one another for joint <br />purchasing and cooperative action. <br />3. Contract lnformation <br />a. The cottege may use the fotlowing Kittitas county contract: <br />i. Contract Titte: Master Service Agreement <br />ii. Vendor Name: US Bank <br />iii. ScoPe: DePosit Accounts <br />b. The Cottege agrees to abide bythe terms and conditions estabtished in the <br />County's contract. <br />4. Responsibitities <br />a. Each party retains futt responsibitityfor its own performance underthis <br />agreement. <br />b. The Cottege witt be sotely responsibte for any purchases it makes and for att <br />resutting payments to the vendor. <br />c. The county witt not be held tiabte or responsibte for the cotl.ege's purchasing <br />decisions or obtigations. <br />d. The county is not acting as a purchasing agentforthe cottege. <br />5. Term: This agreement witt remain in effect for as tong as the County's contract is <br />active, untess terminated earlier by either party with 30 days'written notice.
