22.2 N of Cla rms The Contractor shall not be entifled to additional compensation whichothenruise may be payable, or to extension of time for (1) any act or failure toact by the Co or (2) the happen ing of any event or occurrence, unlessthe Contractor has gtven the County a writte n Notice of potential Claim withinten (10) days of the commencement of the act, failure, or event giving rise tothe claim, and before final payment by the County. The written Notice ofPotential Claim shall set forth the reasons for which the Contractor believesadditionalcompensation or extension of time is due,the nature of the costinvolved, and insofar as possible, the amount of the potential claim. Contractorshall keep full and complete daily records of the work performed, labor andmaterial used, and all costs and additionaltime claimed to be additional. 24.
