EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />1.In addition to providing all labor, materials, and equipment the Contractor shall perform the <br />following: <br />2.All work is to be done based on the procedures defined in WAC 173-308 and Biosolids <br />Management Guidelines (DOE, July 2000), the application rate will be established by the <br />Department of Ecology. <br />3.The Contractor shall provide daily quantities of septage land applied, amount of lime used <br />for stabilization, and pH recordings. <br />4.The Contractor shall land apply septage by one of three methods depending on the <br />characteristics and accessibility of each field. The methods allowed to be used are as <br />follows: rear discharge by tanker truck, a spray cannon mounted on a tanker truck with the <br />ability to shoot the septage at a minimum of 100ft, or a sprinkler system designed to <br />discharge lime stabilized supernatant. <br />5.The Contractor shall not exceed permitted gallons as set by the Department of Ecology. <br />6.In no way is the Contractor allowed to land apply septage in a manner that violates federal, <br />state, or local laws and regulations. <br />7.Contractor shall provide proof of insurance per Exhibit C <br />See exhibit ā€œDā€ for letter and map.
