6, Sustainability: Describe your ability, experience, and resources to implement and <br />sustain the project during the term of the project, (250 words max.) <br />HopeSource has owned and operated over 500 affordable housing units throughout Central <br />Washington, has developed 26 units, and will deliver another 49 units By May 31st 2021. All <br />projects have maintained their affordability over the years, are fully funded, and have sufficient <br />operating reserves to maintain the structures and serve the populations as intended. <br />HopeSource financial controls include adherence to Fiscal Policies supported by OMB Circular <br />requirements and accounting practices. HopeSource is annually audited by an external account <br />and has received 12 consecutive years of clean audits. HopeSource uses the Abila MIP fund <br />accounting financial management system, which is a comprehensive, configurable solution that <br />enables staff to make better financial decisions, execute financial management with greater <br />precision, and better track, report, and manage finances across the entire organization. <br />10 <br />
