HH-2021-001-I IopeSource-CIP <br />HOMELESS HOUSING PROGRAM <br />GRANT AGREEMENT <br />This Homeless Housing Program Grant Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into <br />between KITTITAS COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Washington (the <br />"County"), and HOPESOURCE, a Washington uon-profit corporation ("Recipient") for the <br />Addison Program, <br />ARTICLE I — PURPOSE AND TERM <br />Section 1.1 I'urp Lsag- The purpose of this Agreement is to distribute homeless housing <br />surcharge funds awarded pursuant to the applicable provisions of RCW 36.22.179-1791. <br />Section 1.2 Term: This Agreement shall take effect July 15, 2021 and terminate on <br />December 31", 2023. <br />ARTICLE I1— GRANT AMOUNT, USE AND BUDGET <br />Section 2.1 Grttnt:!ltpo.q A. The Recipient is awarded a total olf up to seven hundred fifty <br />thousand dollars (S750,000.00) ($627,000.00 From Homelessness and St?3,000.00 from <br />Affordable Housing). (the "Grant Award") to be administered as follows as Grant Award <br />1III-2021 —001- HopcSource-CIP. <br />Section 2.2 Use _of-(;raiit: The Recipient shall use the Grant Award solely for the purposes <br />and in the manner of <br />in Exhibit A — Attached Application, which is incorporated by <br />this reference. Adjustments to Proposed Project'fimelines may be requested of the Committee <br />in writing and the Committee may recommend adjustments to the board of Kittitas County <br />Commissioners. These recommendations may be granted or denied at the discretion of the <br />Board of Kittitas County Commissioners. <br />Section 2.3 liud wt. The Grant Award shall be expended by the Recipient as set forth in <br />Exhibit A. Adjustments to Proposed Project Budgets may be requested of the Committee in <br />writing and the Committee may recommend adjustments to the Board of Kittitas County <br />Commissioners. These recommendations may be granted or denied at the discretion of the <br />Board of Kittitas County Commissioners, These recommendations may be granted or denied <br />at the discretion of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />ARTICLE III — DISBURSEMENTS <br />Section 3.1 Disbursement of Grant Award Fun[1s. Not more frequently than once a month, <br />the Recipient may request disbursement from the Grant Award. Each disbursement request <br />must be made by the Recipient submitting to the County at the address specified in Section 5.2 <br />a properly completed Reimbursement Request form.
