Response 3: Describe how you wilt promote your evenUactivity/facility to aftract tourists. * <br />We intend to continue focusing on PUNCH Projects as a year-round arts and culture destination while highlighting some of our <br />more significant events such as "Barnsiorm," our summer concert series, and our workshops. We also wani to collaborale with <br />Ellensburg organizations such as Gallery One and the Clymer to promote First Friday in Ellensburg and First Saturdays in <br />Thorp. <br />Our marketing sirategy will be a mix of boosted Facebook and lnstagram ads, radio spots, print ads, and ediiorial features <br />Radio spois outside the county will consist of more general promotions, while local radio ads will be short{erm to promote <br />weekly performers and events to attract tourlsts already in-town. <br />A group of six visitors to PUNCH Projects once said they were staying at an AirBnB up the road. When they searched "things to <br />do in Thorp" the only result they got was the Thorp Mill. So we've also continued working to expand our website content to <br />improve SEO and search results when tourists are looking for things to do when planning trips, as well as {aking advantage of <br />travel-related sources such as Yelp and Trip Advisor. <br />We currenily have an email lisi with 1400+ subscribers to which we send a monthly update. As we continue to develop our <br />markeiing and promotion strategy, we will be looking io grow our number of subscribers and take full advantage of direct <br />marketing via email to promote events, encourage attendance, and increase overall sales. <br />We've seen great results from print advertising in Seattle's "The Stranger" and Wenatchee's "Comet" publications. We look <br />forward to expanding our print placement and making use of yet uniapped platforms such as "Google Ads." <br />2500 characler linrit <br />4l Gollaboration <br />Response 4,1: lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events, <br />how is this accomplished?* <br />Gallery One VisualArts Center (Ellensburg) <br />ln Ociober 2023, we partnered with Gallery One to help coordinate a 1-day arts conference ihat engaged 50-75 atiendees in <br />presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities between Ellensburg and Thorp. ln January 2025, we will be partnering <br />on multi-site immersive "video art" exhibition. We also volunteer in many ways throughout the year to support their programming. <br />Thorp Community Day <br />ln October 2023,we supported Thorp Community Days through parade participation, community engagement, and cross- <br />marketing and we're already working on our float for the 2024 parade. Blue Bear Puppet Lab of Ellensburg has been a partner in <br />the creaiion of our floats for 2023 and 2O24. <br />lron Horse has supplied beer for events and we created the mural in their new tasting room. ln Fall 2023, we created a can <br />design for their "artist series" fall seasonal release and screen prinied t-shirts live at their tap room. ln September 2424, we are <br />again "live printing" a t-shirl design at their "Dirt Bag Carnival" event. <br />lnland Poetry has hosted performances on our new indoor stage at our Fire House Project. <br />We also collaborated with numerous artists and musicians throughout 2024, as well as food vendors such as Gemini Fish, <br />Luiong Pinoy, Dr. BBQ and Tacos Califas. ln the future, we are excited to expand partnerships with more arts and cultural <br />organizaiions throughout the county and the Departmeni of Art + Design at CWU. <br />2500 character litrril <br />Response 4.2: Describe how you will promote lodging establishments, restaurants, and business located in Kittitas County * <br />We have a list of hoiels and restaurants that we provide to folks coming from out-of-town. This is a list that goes to our visiting <br />resident artists, exhibiting artists and guest speakers. With the addition of multi-day workshops, we would include this <br />information as pari of the signup process for attendees. As our audience and attendance coniinues to grow we also want to <br />partner with a hospitality vendor or food truck and look forward to finding ways to bring more businesses to Thorp. <br />Wiihin our space, we have places for local partners to post event posters and flyers. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 3 o
