Response 1.1 : Please provide a description of your projecUevent. * <br />The Ellensburg Music Festival is a vibrant nonprofit event held annually in downtown Ellensburg, Washington, and is known for <br />its diverse range of musical genres, community atmosphere, and volunteer-driven operation. The 2025 fesiival dates are July <br />25-26, 2025. This is a beloved tradiiion in the area previously known as "Jazz in the Valley", though this eveni is only in its 4th <br />year branded as Ellensburg Music Festival. fhe 2025 festival will targei a different audience and format as compared io prior <br />years, as we are looking to bring a $20,000+ headliner band who is well known in an aitempi to increase tourism and <br />attendance. <br />The event will span multiple venues, including galleries and an outdoor stage, creating a unique, walkable experience where <br />attendees can enjoy live performances across various genres that may include.jazz, blues, rock, soul, funk, country, or Latin <br />music. <br />This grassroots organization ensures that attendees experience a wide variety of musical performances in an intimate <br />community-focused setting. <br />The festival features both emerging and established a(ists, making it a must-attend event for music lovers. ln2024, the lineup <br />included acis such as Too Slim and the Taildraggers (rock/blues), the Joel Astley Band (blues), and Michael Powers fiazz guitar), <br />among others. <br />ln addition to music, the Ellensburg Music Festival conlributes to the local economy by attraeting tourists, with local restaurants, <br />hotels, and atiraciions benefiting from the influx of visitors.
