We are extremely grateful for the current grani and all the volunteer hours we receive. The <br />dedication of our volunteers has been a iremendous asset to the event. Their coniributions not only help reduce costs but also <br />foster a strong sense of community involvement. <br />Despiie lhe absence of additional funding, we are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who contribute significantly to the <br />success of the event. <br />. Estimated Total Volunteer Hours: 1,652 hours for the year. <br />. Value of Volunteer Time: Based on a rate of $23.56 per houl the total value of these volunteer hours amounts to <br />approximately $38,921.12 for the year. This substantial contribution helps offset operational costs and allows us to focus <br />our limited funds on key areas such as marketing and venue expenses. Consisient and strategic marketing <br />is essential for attracting attendees from outside our immediate area, and this funding significantly supports those initiatives. <br />Wiih the continued support of the grant, we can focus on revitalizing Junktiquen in the Burg to where it was pre COVID, <br />ensuring it remains a thriving and anticipaied event in our community. your support is vital as we strive to regain our momentum <br />and bring more visitors to Kittitas County. <br />lf funding is reduced or cut, it will necessitate a thorough evaluation of several key factors to maintain the viability and success <br />of Junk-iiquen in the Burg- Here are the areas we will focus on. <br />1. Location Evalualion: Assess the curreni venue's suitability and costs. lf expenses become unsustainable, we may need <br />to consider alternative locations that ofier better affordability while still accommodating our needs. <br />2. Event Size Considerations: Reevaluate ihe scale of the event to determine if a smaller, more manageable format would <br />be feasible. This could involve reducing the number of vendors or limiting the scope of ihe show to align with available <br />resources. <br />3. Marketing Cosis: Markeiing is crucial for drawing attendees from outside the area. We will need to identify which <br />marketing strategies yield the besi return on investment and prioritize those.
