BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2025- <br />AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO ACCEPT <br />FUNDING FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY AND SIGN <br />GRANT AGREEMENT NO. WRYBIP-2325-KiCPWD-00072 <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works, the Kittitas Reclamation District, the Washington <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yakama Nation requested $740,000 in <br />funding from the Department of Ecology for Springwood Ranch land <br />management and planning; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Ecology has awarded grant funding for these purposes and is <br />preparing Grant Agreement No. WRYBIP-2325-KiCPWD-00072; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works, the Kittitas Reclamation District, the Washington <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yakama Nation will work <br />collaboratively to implement the scope of work authorized and funded by the <br />grant agreement; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works, the Kittitas Reclamation District, the Washington <br />Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Yakama Nation would like Kittitas <br />County Public Works to hold Grant Agreement No. WRYBIP-2325-KiCPWD- <br />00072. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Public Works Water Resource Manager to <br />accept funding from the Washington State Department of Ecology and sign funding agreement <br />WRYBIP-2325-KiCPWD-00072. <br />DATED this 201 day of May 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
