However, the County reserves the right to <br />waive any irregularities and to make the award in the best interest of the County. <br />INSPECTION OF PROPERTY: <br />Prospective bidders are urged to inspect the hay cover structures of interest during a Pre -Bid <br />inspection of the Goodwin Road Hay Cover Storage scheduled for May 30, 2025, at 9:0o A.M. <br />Do not access this property without written permission apart from this pre -bid <br />inspection. The hay storage structures are located on Parcel No. 505933• <br />BID CONSIDERATIONS AND TERM: <br />Bids will only be accepted and considered for both hay structures and for the entire term stated in <br />this solicitation. <br />The term of the Goodwin Road Hay Cover Storage lease(s) shall be twenty (20) months from July <br />1, 2025, to February 28, 2027. <br />LEASE: <br />A draft copy of the Lease for said Hay Cover Storage to be entered into with the successful bidder <br />has been incorporated into this solicitation for review and acknowledgement. <br />SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: <br />The successful bidder shall be responsible for excluding cattle from the hay cover structures. In <br />order to be a responsive bidder, the bidder must have a developed cattle exclusion proposal that <br />has been approved in writing by Flying M Ranch. This property is to be used for hay storage only. <br />INSURANCE: <br />The successful bidder must furnish General Liability Insurance for personal injury and property <br />as follows: <br />$l,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance <br />Said insurance shall name Kittitas County as an additional insured on the liability insurance <br />policy. <br />
