Additional information for GRiT Bicycte Race: <br />Route description: <br />There are three routes. Details for each: <br />. Short https://ridewithgps.comlroutes/4751 0000 <br />o Medium https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47509979 <br />. Lono httos://ridewithqos.com/routes/47509940 <br />Safety and traffic control: <br />. All roads will be open to traffic at all times <br />o The riders will be instructed to follow all rules of the road <br />o There will be no detours needed <br />. Signal will be large traffic signs with messages including "Bike Race Ahead" and <br />"Slow" <br />. Temporary control (flaggers and signage) will be at the corner of Kachess Lake Rd <br />and NF-4832 to allow the riders to make a left turn <br />o Kittitas Co Sheriff deputies will be hired to do traffic control at WA-906 on the <br />intersection near Hyak. This is per WSDOT permit requirements <br />. Temporary control (flaggers and signage) will be located on NF roads: <br />o lntersection of 5480 and 5483 <br />o lntersection of 5480 and 54 <br />o Exit/entrance from Crystal Spring Sno-park to Stampede Pass Rd <br />San itation/Garbage/Recyc I i ng : <br />o Porta-potties will be supplied at a ratio of no less than 1 potty per 50 racers <br />o These will be at the Crystal Springs Sno-Park in the parking area <br />. On-site garbage and recycling will be provided <br />Law enforcement / EMS: <br />. Local sheriff, EMS, and Search and Rescue will all be informed about the event, <br />provided with rnaps and other relevant information <br />o The promoters will hire medically trained support staff to deal with any minor <br />injuries
