Through outreach, data collection, and collaboration, <br />the project will prioritize environmental justice and create sustainable emission reduction plans. <br />Project Long Description. <br />Community -Led Air Quality Improvement for Ellensburg <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) proposes a six month- two year project depending upon funding <br />availability, starting in Jan 2025, to reduce criteria air pollutants —carbon monoxide, lead, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur <br />dioxide, ozone, and particulate matter —in Ellensburg, an overburdened community.
