U IH Amr_00-r %l Ir-Y�JU-�lr ClJ-/10YOUVOr.7JOJ <br />State of Washington Department of Ecology <br />Agreement No: AQOBC-2024-KiCPHD-00010 <br />Page 11 of 28 <br />Project Title: Community -Led Air Quality Improvement for Ellensburg <br />Recipient Name: Kittitas County - Public Health Department <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task Number: <br />Task Cost: $23,000.00 <br />Task Title: Design criteria air pollutant reduction strategies <br />Task Description: <br />Under this task, the RECIPIENT will collaborate with the Ellensburg community by hosting workshops to design criteria air <br />pollution emissions reduction strategies. RECIPIENT must adhere to all requirements outlined in the grant guidelines for this <br />program. Eligible costs must be directly related to and necessary for the purpose of the grant, which is to conduct community <br />engagement, develop, and implement projects to reduce criteria air pollution See page 15 of the grant guidelines for more <br />information. <br />The project must lead to criteria air pollution emissions reduction in the overburdened community the project benefits. <br />Overhead/indirect costs may not exceed 25% of salaries and benefits. <br />Administrative costs are eligible for reimbursement under this grant agreement. All administrative costs must be necessary for <br />and directly related to the purpose of the grant, which is to conduct community engagement, develop, and implement projects <br />to reduce criteria air pollution. Reimbursement requests for administrative costs must include staff name, position, hourly rate, <br />hours worked, and work completed. <br />This contract is supported with funding from Washington's Climate Commitment Act and funded must satisfy the requirements <br />of directive 24-01, detailed in the Agreement Specific Terms and Conditions. <br />Task Goal Statement: <br />Collaborate with the Ellensburg community to design criteria air pollution emissions reduction strategies. <br />Task Expected Outcome_ <br />Community -Driven Solutions: Residents will co -create criteria air pollution emission reduction projects aligned with local <br />priorities.
