Response 1.1: Please provide a description of your project/event.*
Response 1.2: Please provide us link to a brief video summary of you organization's event/project.*
Winter Glow at Park is a magical, family-friendly holiday celebration set against the stunning winter backdrop of Cle Elum,
Washington. This immersive experience features breathtaking light displays, transforming the Washington State Horse Park's
scenic landscape into a winter wonderland that will captivate visitors of all ages.
In addition to the lights, the event features holiday-themed activities, including local food vendors offering seasonal treats, warm
beverages, and a cozy holiday market with vendors that compliment the downtown retail establishments and where visitors can
shop for unique gifts and handcrafted goods. Whether you're a family seeking a fun holiday outing, a couple looking for a
romantic winter date night, or a group of friends enjoying the season together, Winter Glow at Park offers a memorable
experience for all.
This is envisioned to run from Thanksgiving to the end of December, 4 days per week, for that time.
Although there is ample parking on site, to further enhance the visitor experience, potential transportation options between the
horse park and the downtown areas of Cle Elum and Roslyn could be explored. This would allow guests to easily access the
unique shops, restaurants, and historic landmarks in these charming small towns before or after attending the event, offering a
seamless experience without the need to worry about parking or driving in winter conditions.
As you stroll through the park, you'll be surrounded by glowing trees, festive decorations, and whimsical installations that bring
the holiday spirit to life. From towering light sculptures to twinkling pathways, the event offers a dazzling visual experience unlike
any other in the region. The park’s expansive layout allows for creative, large-scale displays, ensuring there’s something for
everyone to enjoy, whether you’re looking for Instagram-worthy moments or simply soaking in the holiday atmosphere.
Whether you're a local resident or traveling from afar, Winter Glow at Park is a must-see holiday destination, offering festive fun
and winter magic in a beautiful, natural setting.
2500 character limit
Note: You MUST be present at the Q&A meeting to qualify for funding.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IldscP7KZlc
Response 1.3: List of Intended Use of Funds *
Note: This language will be related in the contract if awarded.
The CLTAC cannot approve funds not listed under RCW 67.28.1816.
