03/17/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and Local 760 (Jail – Non- <br />Uniformed)as presented. Commissioner Wachsmith seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />REQUEST RECLASSIFY – ACCOUNTANT I PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director explained that in reviewing <br />the duties of his Accountant I and comparing them to the work being <br />performed it’s appropriate in his opinion to reclassify the employee <br />to an Accountant II. He stated he would not be replacing the <br />Accountant I. The Board directed Mr. Fredrickson to prepare a PAF <br />for Board signature as discussed. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT CALLINS 1/10TH OF 1% COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith explained that in following up on the <br />Appointment request from March 3, 2025 regarding an out-of-town <br />mailing address for Debbie Callins, that the reason for it at this <br />time is they are relocating here and renting but selling their home <br />in Kennewick and when that is complete they will update mailing <br />address to Ellensburg. Vice-Chairman Wright moved to approve the <br />request to Appoint Debbie Callins to a two-year term effective <br />immediately and to expire December 31, 2026, on the Kittitas County <br />1/10th of 1% Mental Health Tax Fund Committee as presented. <br />Commissioner Wachsmith seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of March 17, 2025, they would <br />post the following on their Facebook page: Treasurer’s Office New <br />Payment Website; New Solid Waste Facility Update; How Do You Define <br />Economic Development Chamber Survey – Possibly. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2025 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
