Coverage for acls of tenorism is not excluded from your policy. <br />Horrrcver your policy does contain other exclusions wttich may be <br />applicable, such as an exclusion for nuclear huard. You are <br />hereby notified that ffre Tenorism Risk lnsurance Act as <br />amended in 2019, defines an actof tenorism in Section 102(1)of <br />the Act. The term "act of tenorism" means any act trat is certified <br />by frre Secretary of the Treasury-jn consultation with the Secre <br />tary of Homeland Security, and he Attorney General of the <br />United Shtes-to be an act of tenorism; to be a violent act oran <br />act trat is dangaous to human life, property, or infrastucture;to <br />have resulted in damage within tre United Shtes, or outside the <br />United $htes in the case of certain air caniers or vessels or the <br />premises of a United States mission; and to have been commit <br />ted by an individual or indMduals as part of an effort to coerce the <br />cMlian population of the United States or to influence he policy <br />or afiect fre conduct of tre United States Govemment by coer- <br />cion. Underhis policy, anycovered losses resulting from catified <br />acts of tenorism may be partially reimbursed by the United Shtes <br />Government under a formula established by tlre Tenorism Risk <br />lnsurance Act, as amended. Under tre formula, the U nited Shtes <br />Government genaally reimburses 8ff/o beginning on January 1, <br />FE-6999 3 <br />2020 of covered tenorism losses exceeding the shfutorily eshb- <br />lished deductible paid by tre insurance c$mpany providing he <br />coverage. The Tenorism Risk lnsurance Act, as amended, con- <br />hins a $100 billion cap that limits U.S. Government reimburse <br />ment asvrrellas insurers'liability for losses resulting from certified <br />acts of tenorism when he amount of such losses exceeds $100 <br />billion in any one calendar year. lf tre aggregate insured losses <br />for all insurers exceed $100 billion, your coverage may be re <br />duced. <br />There is no separate premium charged to cover insured <br />losses caused by tenorism. Your insurance policy establishes <br />the coverage that exists for insured losses. This notice does <br />not expand coverage beyond that described in your policy. <br />THIS IS YOUR NOTIFICATION THAT UNDER THE TERROR- <br />ISM RISK INSURANCE ACT, AS AMENDED, ANY LOSSES <br />RESULTING FROM CERTIFIED ACTS OF TERRORISM UN- <br />DER YOUR POLICY MAY BE PARTIALLY REIMBURSED BY <br />THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND MAY BE SU& <br />JECT TO A $1OO BILLION CAP THAT MAY REDUCE YOUR <br />COVERAGE. <br />@, Copyright, State Farm Mutual Automobtle lnsurance Company, 2020
