Kittitas County, Washington <br />BOARD oF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />District One <br />Cory Wright <br />District Two <br />Laura Osiadacz <br />District Three <br />Brett Wachsmith <br />March 18,2025 <br />HI-90 Grindy <br />Attn: Jake Maedke <br />139 East Street SW <br />Ephrata, WA 98823 <br />Re: Event Application - HI-90 Grindy <br />Dear Mr. Maedke, <br />The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />90 Grindy 90 mile bike ride on June 7 ,2025. <br />18, 2025 Agenda Session. <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved your event conditioned upon you providing the <br />requirements set forth in the memos attached from the Kittitas County Sherift Public Works <br />Department; Fire Marshal and County Treasurer Thank you for providing the County a <br />Certificate of Liabilitu Insurance with ments listing Kittitas County as an additional <br />insured, in advance of the event this year. <br />The approval was granted conditioned upon you complying with the memo's attached but <br />additibnally that you comply with the 2025 Admrssions Tax registration & remittance rules, <br />following your event and by remitting by no later than 713112025. <br />The Board of County Commissioners also granted your request for a waiver to Kittitas County <br />Code Chapter 5.20.100 (Penal Bond - Bond of Indemnity). <br />In accordance with Kittitas County Code Chapter 5.20.110, a copy of Ordinance No.2009-22 <br />must be posted in a conspicuous place where your event is being held.
