DISCUSSION:
Annually, the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners and County Engineer are
required to certify reports to CRAB covering administration, policies and operations of
Public Works. This includes any Diversion of Road Fund Expenditures for Traffic Law
Enforcement, Fish Passage Certification, as well as the Annual Certification. The Board
Chair's, County Sheriff, County Auditor and County Engineer will each sign the forms
required for the CRAB.
Recently the CRAB Annual Reporting System (CARS) was updated. One update is the
use of an electronic submittal process for the Digital Submittal Certification. In place of
submitting paper documents the Digital Signature Certification is signed and submitted
electronically through CARS. Hard copies of the certification and signature sheet are no
longer being used.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
Reporting to CRAB is included as part of Public Works annual work program.
ATTACHMENTS:
Resolution, County Road report documentation
Page 2 of 2
Public Works "Work Session Staff Report" 2024
