<br />Step 1 is equal to 5% above Law Enforcement Technologist Step 7
<br />Progression through the above salary schedule shall be based upon service time in the position within the
<br />department. For each twelve (12) months of service the employee will advance one step. For the purpose of step
<br />increases, the anniversary date shall be the date the employee started their current position (the "position date").
<br />For anniversary dates occurring between the Lst and l-5th day of the month, any step increase will be effective on
<br />the first day of that month; for anniversary dates occurring between the 16th and final day of the month, any step
<br />increase will be effective on the first day of the next month.
<br />Retroactive payment of wages, if applicable, shall be limited to those members of the bargaining unit employed
<br />by the County as of the date of signing this agreement.
