BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON No. e0a5.CI5 I <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH <br />ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2025 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 4,2025,to <br />furnish Asphalt Materials for 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 20,2025, at2:00 p.m. at Kittitas County <br />Public Works and two (2) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bids of Granite <br />Construction Company and American Rock Products be accepted for Schedules <br />"A" and "B" to ensure availability of product; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2025 Asphalt Materials Schedules "A" <br />and "B" to Granite Construction Company and American Rock Products to ensure availability of <br />product, upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s) <br />DATED this 4th day of March2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />erk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Cory Wright,Vice-Chairman <br />E Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Sf,AL <br />Commissioner
