2025-02-25 MINUTES <br />The Board discussed the salaries of the Command Staff and options for updating the resolution that currently <br />defines their wages. Commissioner Wright moved to approve Resolution 2025-044 with the following <br />amendments: retitle the resolution and remove language related to non-commissioned positions of the Command <br />Staff. The Board will review options for non-commissioned positions at the next Sheriff ’s Study Session. <br />Commissioner Wachsmith seconded the motion. Motion was approved; 3:0. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION – RCW 42.30.110(i) <br />To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with <br />legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a <br />member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is <br />likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. <br />The Board entered executive session at 10:34 AM to discuss potential litigation for an anticipated length of 10 <br />minutes. Anticipated action: none.
