The report of the 2024 annual bridge inspection effort (Exhibit 1), includes any <br />recommendations for bridge replacement and repair. Previous years inspections relied on <br />consultant services for most inspections. PW staff have become certified with <br />Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to lead the County bridge <br />inspection effort. In 2024 PW staff conducted all bridge inspections except for <br />specialized inspections. Reliance on consultants will continue to be needed for <br />specialized inspections such as underwater and non -redundant steel tension member <br />(previously fracture critical) inspections. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Exhibit 1: 2024 Annual Bridge Inspection Report <br />
