Sheriffs Office has requested the following: <br />Obtain necessary permits/make notifications to USFS, <br />WSP, DOT, Cle Elum and South Cle Elum. <br />Treasureros Office has recommended approval. Stating <br />that Mr. Maedke has been hosting events in the County for <br />several years and has always reported and paid Admissions <br />Tax on time. There is no outstanding balance from previous <br />events. The applicant is to report for this event by July 31, <br />2025. <br />Fire Marshal has stated the following: <br />1) Extinguishers shall be placed at all rest stops and check <br />points. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Special Event Application to hold the HI-90 <br />Grindy- 90 Mile Bicycle Ride on Saturday June 7, 2025. <br />HANDLING:BOCC Staff to send notice to applicant and notifu County <br />Departments & KITTCOM, noting a waiver to the Penal <br />Bond and complying with recommendations from: Public <br />Works, Sherift and Fire Marshal, Treasurer. <br />ATTACHMENTS:Special Event Application <br />Certificate of Liability Insurance/Endorsement <br />Memos from County Departments with recommendations <br />Treasurer's Receipt for Event Permit Fee <br />LEAD STAFF:Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator
