CONSUMER SUPPORT SERVICES <br />I N D M D U AL S U PPO RTED E MP LOY itlENT <br />lndividual Supported Employment (lSE) services are part of <br />an individual's pathway to employment and are taitored to <br />individual needs, interests, and abilities. They are <br />intended to promote career devetopment. These are <br />individuatized services necessary to help peopte with <br />devetopmentat disabitities obtain and continue integrated <br />emptoyment at or above the state's minimum wage in the <br />general workforce. Supported emptoyment occurs in a <br />variety of typicat, integrated workptace environments. <br />Supports can be provided to the ctient, employers, and/or <br />coworkers through activities such as on-the-job training, <br />job restructuring, and technical assistance to emptoyers and <br />2023-2024 <br />coworkers. ln Washington State, clients receiving ISE received an <br />average of 2.4 support hours per week, worked an average of <br />10.3 hours per week, and earned an average of 5177.10 per week <br />in 2023.20 <br />lndividual Supported Employment Goal: lncrease the capacity of employment and day service <br />providers vio training ond technicol assistance to increase hours worked and wages earned for clients <br />in individuol supported employment. <br />2024-2026 Targeted Outcomes for ISE <br />. lncrease the percentage of independent supported emptoyment ctients reporting hours/wages <br />f rom 72.5o/o (2020) to 80% by June 30, 2026. <br />. lncrease the amount of high acuity ctients reporting hours/wages (dectine in percentage of high <br />acuity clients reporting wages from 50% in 2020, 37.5% in 2021, 20% in 2022) and offer <br />individuat technical assistance services to agencies for each high acuity client who is not <br />reporting wages by June 30,2026. <br />e Decrease the number of etigibte ctients (120)who do not have any reported activity by 5 <br />percent by June 30,2026. <br />C O /.AI,AU N I TY I N C LU SI O N <br />Community lnctusion (Cl) services are designed to promote <br />individuatized skitt devetopment, independent living, and <br />community integration for individuals to learn how to <br />engage in their [oca[ community activety and freety. <br />Service providers assist individuats in participating in <br />activities that provide opportunities to devetop <br />relationships and to learn, practice, and appty skitts that <br />resutt in greater independence and community inclusion. <br />Examples of community access services may be aiding in <br />obtaining membership or participating in community <br />organizations, training for volunteer work, and support in <br />2023-2024 <br />Number of lndividuals <br />Receivinq Service 36 <br />Orgonizotions <br />Providing Service <br />Elmview <br />Entrust <br />Compass <br />Amount of Funding SqzB,5B2 <br />lndividual Supported <br />Employment services are <br />for working-age adults. <br />Number of lndividuols <br />Receivinq Service 52 <br />Orgonizotions <br />Providing Service <br />Elmview <br />Entrust <br />Compass <br />AtWork! <br />Amount of Funding s355,228 <br />20 (Washington State Developmentat Disabitities Administration 2023) <br />14
