02/24/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />County 1/10 of 1% Mental Health & Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory <br />Board as requested. Chairman Osiadacz seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried 2-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT JUDITH JACKSON – WATER CONSERVANCY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve the appointment of Judith <br />Jackson to the Kittitas County Water Conservancy Board as an <br />Alternate for a 6 year term effective immediately and expiring <br />December 31st, 2031. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />FORMS USDA – RDBG FORMS (5) COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Chair <br />signature on 5 USDA Forms: Environmental Checklist; SF 424; SF 424B; <br />RD 400-1; RD 400-4 as presented, noting these are part of the Grant <br />the Chamber is applying for and was previously approved to proceed <br />on. Chairman Osiadacz second. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE WHITE BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board reviewed their current whiteboard topics and provided <br />status updates. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of February 24, 2025, they <br />would post the following on their Facebook page: Ginkgo EIS Public <br />Scoping Meetings in Ellensburg 2/27/2025 from 5-7 p.m., at the <br />Kittitas County Historical Museum and another virtual one on March <br />13, 2025 from 5-6 p.m.,; Short Term Rental Survey; Veterans Small <br />Group Meeting’s on the 4th Sunday of each month at noon at Mercer <br />Creek Church Room #15. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year. The assignments for 2025 <br />were determined at the Board of County Commissioners Office Admin <br />meeting earlier on and they will continue to provide updates at <br />future meetings. <br /> <br />Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their respective <br />departments and exchanged details of those meetings. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES <br /> <br />There were general updates on meetings & conversations that the <br />Board participated in, individually over the past week. <br />
