The Company shall provide safety training to its employees specificto their <br />roles in compliance with OSHA and all applicable laws. The Company shall provide refresher <br />courses and supplemental trainings as needed. New staff shall attend multi -week training programs <br />specific to their roles with a focus on customer service; Company systems, policies, and procedures. <br />Documentation of the Company's training programs, training schedules and successful training of <br />each employee shall be maintained on file and shall be provided to the County upon request. <br />The Company shall develop and submit a written annual Safety and Training Plan to the County. <br />The County maintains the right to audit training programs, training materials, training records, and to <br />make recommendations to the training programs for all staff. This plan shall include standard <br />operating procedures (SDP's) for transfer station operations, the safety of truck driver staff, including <br />a driver training program, and for those working at the Company's facilities utilized for activities <br />pertaining to this Agreement. <br />The Company shall demonstrate that its Safety and Training Plan, and the plans of its subcontractors <br />are in full compliance with local, State, and Federal laws. The Company's Safety and Training Plan <br />shall also include training for transfer station operating personnel, drivers, field response staff, and <br />subcontracted employees. <br />The Company shall hold monthly "Tool Box" safety meetings in accordance with WAC 296-62 for <br />all employees. <br />11. PUBLIC RELATIONS. <br />a) Image. The Company and its personnel shall conduct themselves in a manner to create a <br />positive image on the Company and the County in the eyes of the public. The Company shall <br />perform its responsibilities hereunder in a neat and orderly manner at all times. The employees <br />of the Company shall present a neat and clean appearance. In case of dispute, courtesy must be <br />maintained. Final determination of conflict between a customer and a Company employee rests <br />with the County. The Company shall not refuse access or service to anyone other than on the <br />18 <br />
