• Waste Loadout. The Company shall be responsible for the loadout of waste material <br />from the tipping floor daily. All waste material received shall be loaded and removed <br />from the tipping floor by the end of the working day. The tipping floor shall be <br />cleaned daily. <br />• Oil, Antifreeze and Automotive -Type Batteries. The Company shall segregate and <br />place in containers or at such locations as provided by the County all oil, antifreeze <br />and automotive -type batteries received at the transfer stations. The County shall be <br />responsible for the removal and final disposition of such items. <br />Litter and Weed Control. The Company shall be responsible for litter and weed <br />control at the transfer stations, including the recycle containers and other units. The <br />sites shall be maintained in a generally neat condition. The Company will be <br />responsible for all litter control, including areas adjacent to the scale houses, weigh <br />scale pits, the transfer station sites, within the transfer station site perimeter fences, <br />outside the transfer station site perimeter fences, and along approach roads. The <br />Company shall operate in such a manner as to control windblown litter to the best of <br />its ability and have a litter control plan included in the operations plan approved by <br />the County. <br />• Vector Control. Vector control is the sole responsibility of the Company. The entire <br />grounds shall be maintained in such a manner to reduce the attraction of vectors, and <br />to keep vectors out. If vectors do appear, the Company shall be responsible for their <br />removal, clean-up, and the repairs occasioned thereby. <br />• Landscaping. The Company shall be responsible for maintaining the landscaping, <br />including watering of lawns, trees, shrubs, and mowing of grass. Loss of landscaping <br />shall be replaced by the Company, at Company expense. <br />• Damage to County Property. The Company shall perform all work so that no <br />damage to the building, grounds, or other County property results. The Company <br />shall repair damage to the satisfaction of the County at no cost to the County. If <br />finished materials are damaged, the Company shall repair and finish to match existing <br />material as approved by the County at the expense of the Company. <br />• Other Maintenance and Operation Functions. The following operations and <br />maintenance functions shall be performed by the Company according to the indicated <br />frequency: <br />a) Daily <br />➢ Snow and ice removal from entrances, on -site roads, recycle areas, walkways <br />and scales (Snow removal on scales cannot be done with a snow plow or <br />backhoe) <br />➢ Clean drain inlets and floor drain strainers <br />➢ Clean tipping floors and trailer loading bays <br />➢ Mobile equipment maintenance <br />➢ Litter pick up <br />12 <br />
