Julie Blackmore - Resident - Ms . Blackmore stated she is a <br /> neighboring property owner with concerns of dust, noise, and <br /> increased truck traffic, and how these things have an effect on <br /> quality of life and property value . <br /> CHAIR COE closed public comment . <br /> COMMISSIONER DENEEN moved to approve the rezone with a <br /> recommendation of approval to the Board of County Commissioners . <br /> COMMISSIONER PEARSON seconded. Discussion occurred. <br /> COMMISSIONER LUNDIN stated his concern for the rezone and the <br /> effects it will have on the land, fish in the streams, the <br /> animals and how it will be monitored. COMMISSIONER DENEEN and <br /> COMMISSIONER TAYLOR provided an additional explanation of the <br /> proposed rezone and the effects of the rock crushing, land <br /> erosion and the possibility of less damage to roads due to not <br /> having to transfer the rocks to another site to crush. <br /> Motion passed 4-1 . <br /> Old Business <br /> There was no Old Business <br /> OTHER BUSINESS - No Action to be taken <br /> There was no other business . <br /> CHAIR COE concluded the Kittitas County Planning Commission <br /> Public Hearing. <br /> Meeting ended at 6 :21 pm. <br /> 2024-12-3 MINUTES 2 <br />
