Washington State <br />Health Care ority <br />CONTRACT <br />AMENDMENT <br />HCA Contract No.: K7843 <br />Amendment No.: 1 <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT is between the Washington State Health Care Authority <br />and the whose name appears below, and is effective as of the date set forth below <br />CONTRACTOR NAME <br />Kittitas County Sheriffs Office - Jail <br />CONTRACTOR doing business as (DBA) <br />CONTRACTOR ADDRESS <br />307 Umptanum Rd., Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />Facility: 205 W Sth, Ste 1, Ellensburg, WA <br />98926 <br />CONTRACTOR CONTRACT MANAGER <br />Name: Sheriff Clay Myers <br />Email: clay. myers@co.kittitas.wa.us <br />WHEREAS, HCA and Contractor previously entered into a Contract for services for individuals while in <br />or leaving a carceral facility, and; <br />WHEREAS, HCA and Contractor wish to amend the Contract pursuant to Section 7 to update <br />Attachment 1, Statement of Work; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree the Contract is amended as follows: <br />1. Attachment 1. Statement of Work, Section 5. HCA Responsibilities is hereby amended and <br />replaced with the following: <br />5. HCA Responsibilities <br />HCA will provide lT infrastructure funding through the Capacity Building Program. lf needed, <br />HCA will collaborate with facilities on solutions for electronic health record (EHR) systems <br />and systems that bill for Medicaid services. <br />HCA is soliciting for TPA to provide administrative support possibly starting as early as Q2 <br />2025. The administrative support may include but may not be limited to assisting clients with <br />Medicaid eligibility screening and application, supporting providers to become enrolled as a <br />Medicaid provider, and serving as a claim clearinghouse that helps facilities and providers <br />prepare and submit claims. <br />Waiver funding for Capacity Building and lT lnfrastructure can only be used for expenditures <br />in Appendix A. Use of funding for any other purposes is not allowable. After HCA notifies the <br />Contractor of an amount of non-allowable funds, Contractor must refund that amount within <br />thirty (30) calendar days of the HCA notice. <br />ln the event Contractor leaves the program and has unspent funds, HCA will notify the <br />Contractor of the unspent amount and the Contractor must refund that amount within thirty <br />(30) calendar days of the notice. <br />2.
