7 <br />BOARD OF COT]I\ITY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI]NTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024 _oo q <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATI]RE FOR RIGHT-OF.WAY PROCEDURES <br />WSDOT F'ORM LPA.OOI, APPEI\DIX A AND APPEIIDIX B <br />WHEREAS: Resolution number 2017-145 approved the Govemment Agreement for Aid, <br />Policy on Right-of-Way Acquisition procedures, Personnel Qualifi cations, <br />Waiver of Appraisal and Administrative Settlement Procedures for acquisition of <br />real estate for Federal Aid funded projects; and <br />WHEREAS: Resolution number 2023-230 updated staff identified for various tasks; and <br />WHEREAS: WSDOT forms and procedures are to be updated to reflect current procedures <br />and requirements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works is required to perform the specific right-of-way functions of <br />Program Administration and Property Management; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works will seek to utilize consultant support for all other specific right-of- <br />way functions; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature updating the <br />right-of-way procedures WSDOT form LPA-001, Appendix A and Appendix B. <br />DATED on this 16th day of January 2024, at Ellensburg, Washinglon. <br />' Col <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS CO <br />Chairman <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />sl-At <br />n Qeputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />cory Commissioner
