BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT B <br />WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT (CDBGI PROGRAM <br />PU BLIC SE RVICES G RANT 22-622LO-OO8 <br />Whereas, <br />Whereas, <br />Whereas, <br />Whereas, <br />Whereas, <br />REsoLUiloN No. 2024-Jnh <br />Chapter 39.34 RCW, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public agencies to <br />enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; and <br />Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapte r 39.34 RCW; and <br />Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce entered into an <br />agreement via Resolution 2022-200 for CDBG Public Services Grant 22-62270-008 <br />to fund the costs incurred for the public services through HopeSource to low- and <br />moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for the period of July L, 2022 thru <br />June 30, 2023, and <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorized Washington State Department of <br />Commerce Amendment Number A on June 20,2023 amending Contract Number <br />Z2-622hO-OO8 by adding additional funding of 581,000.00 with an amended start <br />date of July 1-, 2023 and amended end date of June 30, 2024, and <br />Washington State Department of Commerce has provided Amendment Number B <br />for Contract22-62210-008 adding additional funding of 580,000.00 and amending <br />the start date to July L, 2O24 and end date to June 30,2025;
