BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE PUGET SOUND ENERGY <br />EASEMENT DOCUMENT FOR A NONEXCLUSIVE UTILITY EASEMENT AT <br />BOWERS FIELD <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County owns and leases property at Bowers Field Airport within the <br />Aeronautical Area for aviation purposes; and <br />WHEREAS: Parcels within two developable islands within the aviation area as described on <br />the Bowers Field Airport Binding Site Plan 2nd Amendments BS-21-00001, as <br />recorded on January 19, 2023, in Volume 45 pages 80-83 are available for <br />development; and <br />WHEREAS: Development of the parcels requires electrical utility service; and <br />WHEREAS: Puget Sound Energy (PSE) has requested a nonexclusive utility easement to a <br />portion of Lot AP-1 and H-23 to allow for electrical utility service expansion to <br />the serve those developable areas. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature granting Puget <br />Sound Energy an easement for utilities at Bowers Field. <br />DATED on this 21' day of January 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
