<br />2024-10-16 MINUTES 2 <br /> <br />be for the purchase of new vehicles for the next 2 years. Jill Beedle explained how the state <br />contract purchasing program works and the difficulties experienced with availability. There are 7 <br />vehicles that the Sherrif’s office would like to replace. Commissioner Wright asked to compare <br />with Enterprise Fleet Lease program. This topic is on hold for now. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright talked about the Funding for the EOC Building. He would like to <br />use the REET fund. Commissioners agreed unanimously. <br /> <br />Project requested also included a Generator, Evidence Bay build-out, Security cameras, Entry <br />remodel. Chris Whitsett stated they are waiting for grant funding to become available. It is <br />possible to push some projects out for another year. Clay Myers said it is possible to cut this ask <br />in half. Commissioners would like to continue this conversation later. <br /> <br />Consolidation of the Public Disclosure Request workload was brought up as potential for a <br />centralized department.
