Bowers Field Wildlife Hazard Management Plan
9 A training program to provide airport personnel with
the knowledge and skills needed to carry out the
wildlife hazard management plan
Personnel conducting wildlife control at ELN will receive wildlife hazard management
training from a FAA-approved airport wildlife biologist at least once every 3 years. This
training will reflect guidance provided by AC 150/5200-36A(or most current version)
and will help ELN develop and retain familiarity with bird identification and wildlife
control methods. In addition, ELN may continue to work with USDA WS, which will
also keep personnel apprised of the latest trends and advances in wildlife damage
management. ELN may participate in trainings at other airports around the state. FBOs
will be invited to participate as well.
9-1
31 December 2024
